DEL CITY, Oklahoma -

A 13-year-old girl will be okay after being hit by a pickup truck Wednesday morning in Del City.

The girl was crossing S.E. 29th Street near Linda Lane, on her way to school, when she was struck. The Del City Fire Department said she received very minor injuries, but was taken to a hospital to be checked out.

It's not known if police issued a citation to the driver.
