TULSA, Oklahoma -

Tulsa police are investigating after a body was found in the Arkansas River near 71st Street Monday afternoon.

The man's body was found beneath the 71st Street bridge just before evening rush hour, by three men who were using the riverbed for archery practice.

"Getting to him was what probably took the biggest time--was trying to figure out a way to get to the body to process the scene," said Corporal David Turner.

All investigators will say is that the victim is male, but they've not released a name, cause of death, or how long the body may have been in the river.
