First Del City Massage Parlor Falls Under New Regulations

DEL CITY, Oklahoma -

Del City's recent crackdown on massage parlors has claimed its first casualty. 

Reflex Chinese Massage at 4728 Southeast Tinker Diagonal was ordered to close its doors by the city January 11. Reflex was one of eight massage parlors that applied for business licenses in Del City last spring.

The city instituted strict laws for massage businesses in December.  The city says only two of the city's 11 massage parlors are not in violation of the new laws. 

The city says the most common violation massage parlors have been committing is some of them have been staying open much later than 8 p.m., which is the time the new law says all massage businesses must close.
