2013 Trial Date Set For Tulsa Man Charged With Killing Kayla Ferrante

A judge has set an April 2013 trial date for a Tulsa man charged with the murder of a Memorial High School graduate last spring.

During a court hearing Monday, a Tulsa County judge entered a ‘not guilty' plea for Edwin Daniels and set the date for his trial.

Kayla Ferrante, 17, was shot and killed while riding in a car. Tulsa Police say they believe Daniels shot at the car, believing it belonged to a rival gang member.

Edwins' trial is set to begin April 8, 2013.
