Gov. Fallin's Twitter Account Hacked

Gov. Fallin deleted the hacker's tweets and sent out this tweet Thursday evening.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Gov. Mary Fallin's Twitter followers saw a series of strange tweets Thursday after someone hacked the governor's Twitter account.

The hacker's tweets were a bit bizarre, but did not contain any curse words, or offensive language or images. They included a quote from Dr. Seuss, and a picture of a cartoon banana and monkey with the phrase "BFF."

Gov. Fallin deleted the tweets and sent out this message Thursday night:

Our twitter account has been hacked. Please ignore the last few tweets while we work to fix the problem!

It's not known who hacked the governor's account.
