OKC Man Arrested For Firing Shotgun Near Children At Party

An Oklahoma City man was arrested after police say he fired a shotgun into the ground at a party where a lot of children were present.

Ramon Urbina, 19, was arrested on one count of reckless conduct. According to Oklahoma City police, on July 29, officers responded the report of someone firing one shot into the ground at a home, located in the 300 block of S.E. 21st Street.

As officers arrived, they made contact with Urbina, who admitted to police that he had fired the shot and had hidden the gun in his room.

Police say it was apparent that a party was going on at the house, and a large number of young children were present at the party.

However, Urbina, police say, seemed unconcerned about the circumstances.
