MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -

We're learning more about a man found stabbed to death inside a burning Midwest City home. Prosecutors have charged two men with the murder, however, investigators are still actively looking for evidence.

The call to 911 warned firefighters neighbors could see smoke coming from a house in Midwest City. When emergency crews arrived to the home on June 6, 2011 they found a murder scene that investigators are still working to piece together.

A neighbor near the crime scene says he knows too much to show his face but was willing to reveal the story of what he witnessed.

"It was bound to happen. He was a trouble maker and the police were always over there," the witness said.

The neighbor says he counted 16 times police were called to the house at 309 W. Lilac Lane before they found Gary Sheetz stabbed to death inside the burning home.

Investigators arrested two neighbors Stephen Segar and Kelly Charty for murder and arson. "Sooner or later it was gonna happen. He was fighting with people all the time," the neighbor said specifically one of the two accused killers.

A search warrant in the case reveals a possible motive for the crimes. Police records show the victim stabbed Charty in the nose just six months before the murder.

A witness also told police, "a long running fued existed between the victim and Kelly Charty." Charty later admitted to police his alleged accomplice, "Segar killed Sheetz" by stabbing him multiple times in the face and chest in the backyard of the home. Then, both of the accused murderers admittedly carried the victim inside and set his house on fire. "I hated to see him die that way but he brought it on himself."

Police are now searching for blood and other DNA evidence on a backpack and clothing of the accused murderers.
