OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the body of a man found in a burned home on the city's northwest side.

Gary Chuesburg, 56, was found dead following a fire that engulfed his home located at 2124 N.W. 20th Street in Oklahoma City. The fire began just after midnight Thursday. Neighbors called 911 when they saw the smoke and flames.

Firefighters say the early morning fire was intense, forcing them to battle the fire from the outside of the home for several minutes. When firefighters finally entered the home, they found Chesburg.

The medical examiner is still looking into the actual cause of his death.
