Operation Standoff continues all weekend long to crackdown on bad drivers.
Saturday night's crackdown is dedicated to an Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office employee who was seriously hurt Saturday morning after leaving work. Officials say she was hit head-on by a drunk driver.
Several law enforcement agencies have set up six checkpoints. Officials say there will be no tolerance for anyone violating traffic laws including DUIs.
Meanwhile, members of the Norman Police Department conducted a checkpoint Friday night June 29 in an effort to make Norman a safer city. During the checkpoint officers checked 373 vehicles in a four-hour period.
Officers arrested five people for driving under the influence. They also made two arrests for public intoxication.
