Death Of OU Student Who Fell From Building Ruled Accidental

The state medical examiner has ruled the death of a University of Oklahoma student over the weekend an accident.

According the M.E., Casey Cooke died from blunt force trauma to the head. Cooke's body was found Sunday around 3 a.m. on campus near Evans Hall.

Cooke, 22, had just graduated and was planning to go on to medical school. Sources say she was drinking at a bar near campus before making the climb to the rooftop of the building, where it is believed she could have slipped and fell.

Cooke's funeral will be held Thursday, June 7, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City at 10 a.m.
