Fire officials have new information tonight on a house fire that re-ignited overnight in northeast Oklahoma City, destroying the rest of a million-dollar home that caught fire Saturday afternoon.

The second fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. completely burning the home to the ground. And now Oklahoma City Fire Officials say that the fire is suspicious.

Chief Mark Woodard tells News 9 his crews checked the house at 1, 2 and 3 a.m. Then at 4:30 a.m. they got the call for another fire. When they arrived the whole house was burning.

This time the entire house went up in flames and now officials say it is a total loss. A lack of fire hydrants in the gated neighborhood made fighting the fire more difficult for crews during both of their responses. They actually had to bring tanks of water to the scene.

Firefighters were not able to contain that fire before the entire house was destroyed. In the earlier fire from Saturday crews were able to knock the flames down and contain the fire to the garage and part of the attic. During the first response crews had to leave the structure when the garage roof began to cave in.

News 9 is told two people were inside the home when the first fire erupted. They made the initial call for help. One firefighter suffered a minor hand injury and went to the hospital for treatment. The original damage was estimated at $300,000.

Tonight, firefighters now say the million-dollar house is a total loss. There is still no official cause on how either of the fires at the home started. Arson investigators are working to find the causes.
