OKLAHOMA CITY -- There are many Fourth of July events going on around the metro this weekend. Below is a list of events and fireworks displays categorized by town.

Bethany
Freedom Festival
July 4
10 a.m. -Bethany Freedom Parade (Begins at 39th Expressway and Peniel and ends at Eldon Lyon Park.
Fireworks at dusk.

Edmond:
LibertyFest
July 4: Parade at 9 a.m.
ParkFest begins at 6:30 p.m. with inflatable's, games, entertainment
Metro area's largest fireworks display at 10 p.m.

Moore:
Art in the Park: A Celebration in the Heartland
July 3-4 from Noon- 10 p.m. at Buck Thomas Park
July 4: The festival concludes with a spectacular fireworks display at dark.
This outdoor festival features a variety of food and entertainment including inflatable's, children's art tent with storytelling and performances, car show, carnival rides, craft vendors and live music.

Oklahoma City:
July 4: Fireworks at 10 p.m. at AT&T Bricktown Ballpark following the game between the Oklahoma City Redhawks and the Iowa Cubs. 

Myriad Botanical Gardens
July 4: Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory will offer free admission to all guests in celebration of Independence Day. Hours are 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Visitors are advised to use the north entrance of the Crystal Bridge, near the band shell, while work on the visitor information center is being completed.

Nichols Hills
July 4-Parade at Kite Park begins at 9 a.m.

Norman:
July 4: Activities begin at Reaves Park at 4 p.m.
Fireworks begin at 9:45 p.m.

Shawnee:
July 4th Spectacular
FireLake Grand Events Center at 7 p.m. and a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
Shawnee Twin Lakes 4th Annual Independence Day Boat Parade is July 4 at Shawnee Twin Lake #1.
Bring chairs and refreshments and enjoy the annual Boat Parade from Glen Collins Memorial Park or Isaac Walton Park.
Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Boat, Best Decorated Sailboat, and Best Decorated Personal Watercraft.

Yukon:
Freedom Fest
July 3-4
Activities begin at 5 p.m.
July 3 at Chisholm Trail Park with live outdoor concerts by Mike Black & The Stingrays and Irv Wagner's Concert Band.
July 4 festivities kick off at 8 a.m. with the annual Cherry Bomb Triathlon and Stars & Stripes Sand Volleyball Tournament.
Throughout the day enjoy The Freedom Fest Car Show, Children's Freedom Fest Parade, bicycle decorating contest, craft tents, play areas with moon bounces, swimming at City Splash and a variety of family activities and games.
Evening events on July 4 at Chisholm Trail Park and Gazebo include The Rodeo Opry Show, free watermelon and ice cream, hot dog eating contest and more.
The finale on July 4 features a free concert at the Gazebo by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic at 8:30 p.m. with a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
