OKLAHOMA CITY -- Several Oklahoma high school students were recognized Thursday for completing their education thanks to some special help.
The students were part of Youth Services for Oklahoma County's SKIL program. SKIL stands for Supporting Kids in Independent Living. The program helps student who live without parental support so they can finish high school.
Ian Robinson said without SKIL, he may have otherwise not finished high school.
"I'm very thankful for this program. Thankful for Joanna who stuck in my corner and told me not to quit. Don't ever quit," Robinson said.
Robinson is headed to college on a football scholarship.
