OKLAHOMA CITY -- A suspect is in custody following a Tuesday evening shooting which injured two in Tecumseh.
Jerry Edward Daubert, 44, was arrested by Tecumseh police on two counts of shooting with intent to kill.
Daubert allegedly fired two shots into a van occupied by his ex-wife Dedra Mullen and her friend, Dathan Lane, outside Daubert's residence at 19651 US Highway 177 in Pottawatomie County according to J.R. Kidney, Tecumseh's assistant police chief.
Kidney said the pair had come to the residence to discuss issues possibly involving Daubert's and Mullen's children.
At some point during the conversation, Daubert reportedly retrieved a rifle from his trailer and fired at Mullen and Lane, injuring both. Lane was struck once in the chest and Mullen was grazed in the neck by a bullet or hit by flying glass, Kidney said.
Mullen was treated and released from Unity Hospital in Shawnee. Lane was treated at Unity and then mediflighted to the OU Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition early Wednesday morning.
