Man Tasered, Maced by Police Has Been Identified

OKLAHOMA CITY – A man who died after Oklahoma City police used both mace and a taser to subdue him during an altercation has been identified.

According to police, 48-year-old Gary L. Grossenbacher was involved in a domestic dispute that police responded to when an altercation ensued with two officers.

Grossenbacher became unresponsive after the incident and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The medical examiner's office will determine an exact cause of death.
