EDMOND, Oklahoma -- An Edmond Youth Ministry Center destroyed by fire re-opens its doors Sunday afternoon.

A furnace closet caught fire at New Covenant United Methodist Church's Student Ministry two and a half years ago. The damage estimate was $2 million.

Now the facility has been completely renovated - equipped with a meeting center, recreational areas and classrooms.

To celebrate the re-opening, the church is holding The Red Dirt Block Party for the entire community. It starts at 12:15 p.m. There will be Oklahoma Red Dirt Music, inflatables and a free cookout.

All you're asked to bring is a can of food to help support Edmond's Hope Center, 2700 South Boulevard Street.
