OKLAHOMA CITY -- Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man on a child endangerment warrant Saturday.

When deputies went to serve the warrant for Neal Pugh, they saw him look out the window but he refused to answer the door. Because the deputies had an arrest warrant, they entered the home but initially could not find the 24-year-old.

After thoroughly searching the house, deputies found Pugh hiding in a small cabinet beneath the water heater in the garage.

Pugh was arrested on complaints of child endangerment and child neglect. He is being held in the Oklahoma County Detention Center on $40,000 bond.

Deputies also found Pugh's 9-month-old child inside the house.
