NEWS 9 and its company Web sites were honored alongside other Oklahoma media outlets at the Oklahoma Associated Press Broadcasters luncheon on Wednesday.

OKLAHOMA CITY -- NEWS 9 and its company Web sites were honored alongside other Oklahoma media outlets at the Oklahoma Associated Press Broadcasters luncheon on Wednesday.

NEWS 9 received seven first place awards for Feature Reporting, Feature Photography, General News, Enterprise, Photographer Portfolio, Best Sportscast, and Best Web site for OKBlitz.com.

NEWS 9 also garnered five second place awards, seven third places, and two honorable mentions. The station also received the Sweepstakes award for overall excellence.
