Man Steals from Tip Jar

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man caught on tape stealing from a tip jar.

The south side business's surveillance video captured a man asking the clerk for a phone book. When the clerk leaves the man reaches for the tip jar, stuffs it in his pants and leaves.

Police say investigators are interested in the man as they believe he was possibly involved in a similar incident that occurred earlier in the month.

Police ask anyone who recognizes him to give police a call at 235-7300.
