OKLAHOMA CITY -- Youth Services for Oklahoma County runs a program to help metro students who are forced to live on their own without any financial help.

"With the SKILs program, now I'm vice president of my class and I'm top 10 percent and I'm going to OU," said John Marshall High School senior Kenetta Banks.

A graduation breakfast was held Thursday morning to honor seniors like Kenetta in the SKIL program, which stands for Supporting Kids in Independent Living.

"We do everything that you would do as a parent to ensure your child's success, we do that. And in fact our real goal is to graduate, our first goal is to graduate from high school," said Debbie Forshee, the President and CEP of Youth Service for Oklahoma County.
