OKLAHOMA CITY -- Another politician announced his candidacy for the 2010 Governor's race.

Senator Randy Brogdon (R-District 34) will officially announce he'll enter the race for Governor Saturday at the State Republican Convention.

Currently, his only Republican opponent is Congresswoman Mary Fallin.

"I've really enjoyed serving as a state senator for the last seven years, but I really feel compelled since I have an opportunity to run for Governor," Senator Brogdon said. "I really want to service more people and I think this will give me a greater opportunity to do so."

Governor Brad Henry cannot run again due to term limits.

Democratic Lieutenant Governor Jari Askins and Democratic Attorney General Drew Edmondson have also announced their campaign plans.
