Invisible Assailant Terrorizes Family for 20 Years

LINCOLN COUNTY, Oklahoma - In the middle of the night, while asleep, her husband was thrown across the bedroom. Her adult daughter was trapped in a room while somebody or something pounded and clawed at the door trying to get at her. Now, the family needs validation of their own sanity.

"We've lived with this for over 20 years," the mother, 'Beth' said.

Wanting to remain anonymous, 'Beth' explained what's happened to her family.

"A quarter of a mile down the road, when we first moved in, we put a single wide there," Beth said. "Within a matter of about a month, it really got bad. You could hear heavy footsteps in the hallway. Between three and four in the morning, every morning, the bed would violently shake like somebody was trying to wake you up. You could hear whispers. You couldn't make out exactly what they were saying, but you could hear the whispers."

According to Beth, something keeps trying to make its presence known, regardless of the time of day.

"I would take our daughter to go catch the bus," Beth said. "When I got back, all the cabinets in the kitchen were open."

That was then. This is now.

Beth's 24-year-old daughter will not stay in the house alone at night.

"The last time she did, I was at a friend's house," Beth said. "When I got back, she was in her pick-up truck with her dogs, crying hysterically, and she said, 'Don't you ever leave me alone in

Paranormal Activity in Lincoln County

Beth's husbands experience was worse.

"My husband, about a month and a half later, was in bed and he was physically thrown off of his side of the bed," Beth said. "He ended up breaking one of his ribs."
