OKLAHOMA CITY -- Changes made to protocol back in 2006 paid off for police Saturday when they caught three suspects after a high-speed chase.

The high-speed chase started near the capitol just before 5 p.m. The suspects' vehicle hit 90 miles an hour as they approached Broadway Extension.

That's when police implemented their newest chase protocol and a supervisor assigned to monitor the pursuit called it off to keep other drivers safe.

But in the end, Oklahoma City police still caught the suspects as they was coming across Britton Road.

Jordan Christopher Tyner, Kevin L. Tyner and Lashown Antoine Tyner were arrested by Oklahoma City police.

A report from the city council last year shows the new policy that assigns a monitor to each chase has helped cut down on accidents.
