ARDMORE, Okla. -- An Ardmore boy who lost one of his therapy dogs is getting a new puppy.

Angie Martin, who works in the Oklahoma City Police Department, saw the NEWS 9 story and decided to make a difference.

Foster Trusty met his new friend Friday night. Foster will use the black pug as a therapy dog against Lupus. He said he'll name it Puggles.

"It was just meant to be. The puppies would be six weeks old this week. He lost a black male. I had a black male and I just said ‘That's where it goes'," Martin said.
