Police arrest teen in shooting of 19-year-old

MOORE, Okla. - Moore police have arrested Tyler Meek,18, and charged him in the shooting of his roommate.

Police said Nathan Riddle, the 19-year-old victim, and Meek were fighting early Saturday before the fight turned ugly.

Meek shot Riddle in the neck and then ran off near the Springs of Moore Apartments on 12 and Janeway Avenue police said.

Meek is being charged with shooting with intent to kill and possession of a firearm after adjudication. The second charge means Meek will be convicted as a juvenile for charges that would be a felony if he was convicted as an adult.

Riddle was released from the hospital and he is recovering at home.
