FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - A Texan indicted last summer in an anabolic steroid distribution investigation has been caught in Oklahoma and will be returned to Fort Worth.

The U.S. Attorney's Office announced 30-year-old Joshua Hodnik of Mansfield was arrested Wednesday at a home in Oklahoma City.

"This is the largest steroid operation that we know of in the State of Oklahoma," Oklahoma County Sheriff John Whetzel said. "He gave no trouble as they took him into custody."

A search warrant was executed by federal and Oklahoma County law officers, after a house had been under surveillance. Agents found nearly $10,000, anabolic steroid compounds and hundreds of vials allegedly used to package anabolic steroids for resale.

Hodnik was indicted last August on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Hodnik appeared Wednesday afternoon before a magistrate in Oklahoma City. His court-appointed attorney, Paul Lacy, declined comment to The Associated Press.

If convicted, Hodnik faces a maximum 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
