OKLAHOMA CITY -- The FBI and Warr Acres Police Department are investigating claims that a man robbed a Bank of America at 3501 N. MacArthur Blvd. this morning, authorities said.

The man entered the bank at around 11:25 a.m. Monday, waited in line, and approached a teller with a demand note.  The alleged robber gathered the money discreetly and left the bank on foot, running north, bank officials said.

The alleged robber is described as a white man, about 5'8" to 6-feet tall, 180 to 190 pounds with short dark hair in his mid to late 20s. At the time of the alleged robbery, he was described as wearing a black long sleeved shirt with embroideries.

Police are asking if anyone has any information to contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770.

The Oklahoma Bankers Association is offering a reward of up to $2000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the alleged robbery.
