Dad Back From Iraq

There was a special surprise on the homefront on Thursday.  Colby, Corbin and Bailey thought they were receiving a "special" award on the last day of school at Freedom Elementary in Sapulpa, when their dad popped out from behind the stage curtain.

Their dad, Kevin Bliss, arrived in Oklahoma on Thursday after spending the past year in Iraq, working as an Army contractor.  Bliss says he'll be here for ten days before he'll go back to Iraq.

"Fastest ten days of my life, like the last ten days were," said Army contractor Kevin Bliss.

Bliss told The News On 6 that he thinks about his kids every day, but has to keep his mind on work so he can get back to them.
