Prosecutors charged 39-year-old Julie Ann Bell in collaboration in the stun gun attack of a metro teacher.

According to police, Bell acted as an accomplice to Leshawn Fisher who was charged in April for the assault. The new suspect is the parent of a cheerleader at Putnam City North High School.

Police believe Bell assisted with the attack because the teacher was allegedly being mean to Bell's daughter, a member of the cheerleading squad.

Bell's daughter told police that her mother said not to tell anyone they knew Fisher. Police were able to obtain Bell's cell phone to retrieve text messages from the April attack.

The alleged details of the attack are described in the probable cause affidavit, which was filed late Friday afternoon by the Oklahoma County D.A.'s office.

According to a probable search affidavit, the woman admitted she was at the high school and received text messages and phone calls from Fisher the day of the attack.

"Julie Bell maintains her complete innocence against all these allegations," Bell's defense attorney David Adler said.

Both Bell and Fisher each face a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Bell turned herself into police Friday.
