Ambush makeover transforms 5 metro ladies
Five metro women recently were treated to a day of pampering and a makeover.
The women were running their daily errands, when a NEWS 9 crew ambushed them.
Kirsten McIntyre, along with VIP Limousine and the team from the Anthony David Salon, transformed the busy women into bombshell beauties.
Every night this week, a new woman will be featured.
Melissa thought she was going to get some quick shopping in before a doctor's appointment. Little did she know, the Ambush Team pin-pointed her for their next makeover. The single mother enjoyed a day of relaxation as Cayden, who Melissa was babysitting, hung out with Anthony David.
Carliss just finished her grocery shopping when the Ambush Team bombarded her. Taking her from plain Jane to classy Carliss just took a new hairdo and clothes. The 46-year-old mother of nine was back on the prowl for prince charming, and after her makeover it shouldn’t take her long to have them “lined up.”
The retired state worker has a school reunion this weekend and was surprised the Ambush Team would choose such a challenging candidate. The proud mother and grandmother is generously giving one of her kidney’s to her stepdaughter. The team said their gift to Allen was nothing compared to what she was prepared to give.
The Ambush team found 24-year-old Emily dressed to run errands. The metro youth minister recently celebrated her one-year anniversary and said she always thought a makeover would be a “cool experience.” While the newly-wed was getting her new hair style, Kirsten was on the phone with Emily’s husband, making sure he had dinner plans for the two of them set up for that evening.
Judy Stringer was caught leaving the gym after a workout. The 52-year-old said as her youngest son prepares to leave for college, she's looking forward to spending more time with her husband. The ambush makeover team reveals a beauty beneath the sweat and sneakers.
