For the past six years, Oklahoma City's own Rex Linn played a starring role on the hit television show, "CSI Miami."

"I considered Oklahoma City home," Rex Linn said.

While he's called Oklahoma home since he was 12, Rex said he's known his entire life he wanted to become an actor. In 1990, Linn left home for southern California and the hills of Hollywood.

"Never would have thought this would happen," Linn said.

Six years after landing a starring role on "CSI Miami", Linn is now one of the most recognizable faces on TV, but his career first took off in 1993, acting alongside Sylvester Stallone in the movie, "Cliff Hanger."

With more than 35 major films to his credit, plus a starring role on the hit CBS show, "CSI Miami," Linn said he's no Hollywood superstar.

"You know, it's not necessarily that I try to put on a good ‘ole boy act, I don't. I just grew up around great people in Oklahoma, and that's the way I act out here. I haven't changed at all," Linn said.

He's still a down-home country boy.
