Woman found in alley identified; suspect arrested

Homicide investigators at the Oklahoma City Police Department have positively identified the woman found in an alley last week.

Janelle Sue Berry of Oklahoma City was positively identified on Friday, March 7, said police. Her body was found in an alley early March 4 in the 2800 block of NW Pennsylvania Avenue.

After getting the victim identified, detectives developed information that lead them to question Frank Brown.

Brown was transported to the Homicide Unit where he was interviewed last Friday.  At the conclusion of that interview, Brown was placed under arrest for one count of Murder in the First Degree.
