Oklahoma City Police released a sketch Thursday of a man wanted for questioning in a possible child abduction.

The man is described as a 35-year-old white male, 5 foot 9 inches tall, about 200 pounds with a large stomach and brown hair, according to a police report.

At about 3 p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a possible child abduction in the 1100 block of NW 42 Street. A caller reported hearing screams and an unknown male with a physical struggle with an unidentified 7 or 9-year-old girl, the report read.

Police have not received any matching missing person's reports for the girl so they have not been able to confirm an actual kidnapping, according to the report released Thursday morning.

Police canvassed the neighborhood and searched by helicopter Wednesday but did not locate the suspect or the two-door compact car we was seen fleeing in with the child, the report read.

Police are asking anyone with information about the possible abduction to call the department's Child Abuse Unit at 297-1124 or Crime Stoppers at 235-7300.
