Man Hospitalized, Woman Arrested After Shooting At NW Oklahoma City Home

A man is in the hospital after a domestic shooting in NW Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Oklahoma City Police said officers responded to the home near Northwest 63rd and May Avenue around 4 p.m.

At the home, officers said the woman came out of the house and was holding what was believed to be a gun.

One officer fired their weapon at the woman and missed. OCPD didn't clarify how many shots were fired.

OCPD then had to taser the woman to place her in custody. They said she had another object in her hands that wasn't a gun, but didn't specify.

The officer who fired their weapon will be on administrative leave.

No other details on the victim have been released.

There's no word on what exactly led to the shooting at this time.
