So far in October, we've averaged 82 and 83-degree highs, which is way above the normal average of 74 degrees.
We shattered the record high on Wednesday, and many more record highs will fall on Thursday.
What is the weather like on Thursday?
Over the last several days, we have been chasing record highs, and on Thursday, the high will be even hotter!
We will climb into the 80s and 90s!
The winds really ramp up, so the wildfire risk increases.
Gusts could reach 35 to 40 mph out of the southwest. The humidity will drop to 15%.
This will mean high fire danger across Oklahoma and worse conditions in the west.
Many counties are under a burn ban, and the list keeps growing.
A strong cold front moves in tonight, drastically cooling us off for the next few days.
This front may bring a few showers, but not enough to stop our raging drought.
