Rain, Storms Move Into Oklahoma This Weekend

Showers & storm chances go back up later this evening & overnight with some heavy rainfall. Thankfully, the severe wx threat looks very low overnight with some small hail & gusty winds. This rain will be around tomorrow morning, clearing out for our Sunday afternoon. Warm & muggy conditions for Monday with a chance of severe weather. #okwx -- Justin

What Is The Weather Going To Be Like This Weekend?

Storms are likely Saturday afternoon for southwest Oklahoma with lower chances in the metro. Storm chances increase for most of the state again Saturday night and into Sunday morning.

By Sunday afternoon the highest chance of rain pushes into northeast Oklahoma.

Monday is a day to watch closely as all the ingredients are there for another big severe weather day. Right now, the lid in the atmosphere could limit the amount of storms. However, if they develop, we'll be primed for storms to rotate and produce hail, high winds & tornadoes.
