There's a risk for tornadoes and damaging storms Monday in Oklahoma.

The severe weather threat returns Monday afternoon and evening when forecasts show tornadic supercells developing out west and moving into the metro.
The main threats with these storms will be strong tornadoes, and hail that could reach the size of baseballs. Strong winds will also be a factor.
What is the severe weather forecast for Oklahoma on Monday? Will there be tornadoes?
From 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday morning, there is a moderate chance for tornadoes all across central and northern Oklahoma.

The forecasted storm zone for Monday's severe weather event is most likely in central Oklahoma up to the Kansas border. Surrounding areas should still stay weather-aware on Monday.

Storm risks are higher in western Oklahoma from 3 to 6 p.m.

After 6 p.m., storm chances for the OKC metro increase to 60 percent.
The current models show very large hail potential for Oklahoma with Monday's storms.
From as far SW as Lawton up to Ponca City, including the OKC metro, there is the possibility for baseball-sized hail.
The majority of the state will have the chance for hail, including golf ball and quarter-sized.
