Severe Storms Possible Overnight Wednesday Into Thursday

Following storms on Tuesday and Wednesday are also shaping up to have the potential for severe weather.

Storms should begin to flare up in the western portions of the state, and there is a risk of tornadoes.

It will likely not make it into the OKC metro until after 10 p.m. at the earliest, as it looks now.

Current Watches/Warnings:

  1. Tornado Watch for Beckham, Ellis, Greer, Jackson, Roger Mills and Woodward County until 11:00 p.m.
  2. Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Greer, Harmon, Jackson and Tillman County until 11:30 p.m.

What Is The Weather Going To Be Like On Thursday, May 2?

Thursday will be another warm day and a cold front arrives.

This will bring in a chance for rain and storms across central Oklahoma. A couple of severe storms are possible tomorrow with a hail and wind threat.
