Easy Gingerbread Cookies

  • 1 box gingerbread cake mix
  • 1 stick unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 egg
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Mix the cake mix with the softened butter and egg in a medium sized bowl till it forms a dough ball.
  4. Remove from the bowl and place on a lightly floured piece of parchment paper.
  5. Roll out the dough to 1/2 inch thick and use cookie cutters to make shapes.
  6. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Allow the cookies to cool before decorating.
