The non-profit group Tulsa YouthWorks unveiled a new OKC Thunder themed basketball court on Friday.

Thunder mascot Rumble and the Thunder Spirit Squad were a part of the unveiling as kids got to go through a basketball clinic. Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum says he’s thankful organizations like the Thunder and U.S. Cellular are investing in the community.

“People throughout our city are saying we want every kid in this city to have an equal shot at a great life and we’re going to pull together. Let everybody else around the country be divided and have their fights, in Tulsa we’re gonna work together to make this the best place we can for kids.”

U.S. Cellular donated $20,000 for the new court located at the Wesley Center at 2750 North Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.
