1 Transported To Hospital After NW OKC Shooting

One woman was transported to the hospital overnight after being shot near Pennsylvania Avenue and NW 12th.

According to Oklahoma City Police, the possible suspect in this case attempted to purchase the victim's car before shooting.

It started when the victim pulled up to a convenience store parking lot late Wednesday night. After the victim refused to sell her car, witnesses said the suspect misfired his weapons several times before ultimately shooting the victim once in the leg.

According to police reports, the victim drove herself home and gathered some relatives before returning to the scene of the crime.

Police said she was trying to locate the suspect.

 But instead police tell us the victim claims her car was stolen in the process.

The victim's injuries are considered non life-threatening.

Police said right now the only suspect description they have at this time is a young black male in his early 20's.
