Arroz Con Leche


  • 3 cups cooked rice (cook the rice with 1 cinnamon stick)
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cinnamon sticks, broken in half
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla


  1. In a medium sized saucepan, stir together the rice, half and half, sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  2. Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla.
  4. Serve in small bowls warm.
  5. Store any leftovers in airtight container in the refrigerator.
