Anadarko Police: Homicide Suspect Died Of Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound
ANADARKO, Oklahoma - A homicide suspect died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Anadarko, police said.
About 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, police were called to a Walmart parking lot in reference to a possible suspect sighting. The alert was issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety in connection with a homicide that happened on Friday in Crowell, Texas.
Officers located the suspect, and while they attempted to make contact, they found Jeremy Judd Owens, 37, of Oakley, Kansas, dead inside of the suspect vehicle.
Police said it appears Owens died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police said Owens did not have any ties in Anadarko and this was an isolated incident.
