1 Critical After Shooting In NE OKC

One person is in critical condition after a shooting in Northeast Oklahoma City, Thursday night. 

Officials told News 9 the shooting took place at a M-Mart near Northeast 23rd Street. According to Oklahoma City Police, the victim in this case was a customer inside the business. 

The victim, identified as 20-year-old Gerard McCarty, was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Police said the suspect in the case fled the scene.
