PURCELL, Oklahoma - Authorities are searching for a man accused of kidnapping his ex-girlfriend in Purcell, assaulting her, and snatching her phone as she attempted to call 911.

Floyd Joseph Ball, Jr. reportedly pulled the victim into his vehicle at the local Sonic and drove to Moore. Investigators said he assaulted her multiple times causing substantial injuries.

The victim tried to dial 911, but police said Ball took her phone before the call could be made. She reportedly convinced Ball to take her back to Purcell and he dropped her off at a convenience store. The victim was then able to contact police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ball. Police said the suspect vehicle is a 1999 green Toyota Camry with Oklahoma tag DYY 804. Police said Ball may be headed to Texas.

He has a violent history and may be armed, according to authorities. If you see him, you’re urged to call 911 and do not approach him.
