New Apartments, Old Problems: Crews Battle Blaze At NW OKC Complex

Crews were called out to battle a blaze in an all-too-familiar location, Tuesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the scene at the complex, located in the area of NW 10^th Street and N. Rockwell Avenue.

The fire was located in a building on the site of the old Lantana apartments; a complex notorious to Oklahoma City Firefighters, who’ve responded there to fight several fires, including many arsons.

Authorities tell News 9 new apartments were being built on the site. None of the buildings are currently occupied and no injuries have been reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
