Police On Scene Of Shooting Near Downtown OKC

Police are responding to a shooting near downtown Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called out to the scene in the 2700 block of W. Sheridan Ave., near the intersection of May Avenue and Reno Avenue. Authorities say they received a call stating that a man had been shot "two or three" times. When officers arrived they say they could not locate the victim. Officers are currently searching the area for that person.

According to police, the suspect is a white male, thought to be wearing a blue beanie and a black jacket. He may have left the scene in a black GMC SUV, possibly a Jimmy.
