Posted: Updated:
CUSHING, Oklahoma -

Authorities say an inmate at the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing drugged a prison guard back on September 10.

The Stillwater News Press reports Brandon Perkins, an inmate due to felony convictions, confessed to lacing a female guard's water with a substance while she was making security rounds.

Preliminary testing shows that substance was meth.

The guard was not hurt or made ill.
