Your 2 Cents: Attorneys Release Joe Mixon Assault Video

I explained why delaying the release of the Joe Mixon video was bad for everybody involved. 

Here's what you had to say about it:

Shawn first, "the video shows the cold hard truth. I can make it sound like he defended himself on paper but if you watch this and think it's OK, you're sick." 

Cindy writes, "I think the media is scum for showing this 2 and a half years after it happened. Let it go!!!"

Pamela says, "It should have been released in the beginning, and now Mixon is begging for forgiveness"

Brandon disagreed with me on one point, "Kelly Ogle, saying it doesn't have anything to do with winning is kidding himself."

And Chad added, "Had Mixon been a 2 star athlete, he'd have been prosecuted and the video released immediately. OU chose to sacrifice integrity on the alter of winning." 

Kim's take, "only those who are involved and the jury need to see this video. otherwise, it's just the news being nosey (sic)"

Heather says, "The punishment has been given and served. The late release of the video is now salt in the wound." 

Finally, Mark says, "..the only result of the media's insatiable desire to get this video released for the 'sake of transparency' was to get people to take sides and say horrible things about the parties involved."

I strongly disagree with Mark. People can now see what really happened and that has sparked the heated the debate on my Facebook page.
