Mayfield is one of three finalists for the Maxwell Award, given by the Maxwell Football Club to the outstanding collegiate player of the year, as well as one of three finalists for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award, issued by the Davey O'Brien Foundation.
Westbrook is one of three finalists for the Biletnikoff Award, presented by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation to the outstanding receiver in college football.
Both guys were influential in Oklahoma's most recent 56-28 win over West Virginia, a game in which Mayfield was efficient in leading the Sooners in lousy weather while Westbrook made a huge play to score a touchdown off a screen pass.
“Baker Mayfield really excellent on the day again, just played in a really great way," Bob Stoops said. "Dede again with a big play to go with the running game.”
